Brass Gate Valves
Description
A common gate valve with a wide range of uses is the brass gate valve. These brass gate valves are made to initiate and stop flow. They are in stock as 1" F x F BSP, while a variety of alternative sizes are available upon request. The gate valves may be used with diesel, oil, and water and are utilized in fuel and water installations.
We provide a large assortment of brass gate valves for your purpose. Gate valves, also known as shut-off valves or sluice valves, are manually controlled valves that allow on/off flow control by rotating a hand wheel to lift or lower a wedge (also known as a disk) in the (non-obstruction) flow route. Because of their simple construction, they are dependable and require minimal maintenance. The brass housing allows it to be used with water or other neutral liquids. Because gate valves need numerous spins of the handwheel, they close and open slowly enough to prevent water hammer.
