Ball Valves
Description
A ball valve is a quarter-turn rotary motion valve that regulates the flow of liquids or gases using a hollow, perforated, pivoting ball. The valve is open while the ball's bore is aligned with the flow; the flow is blocked when the valve handle rotates the ball 90 degrees.
Their robustness, simplicity of use, and capacity to keep a tight seal even after years of inactivity make them extremely valuable.
